Advertising Policy
Advertising Policy
The school is frequently approached by external organisations to advertise in our weekly e-bulletin. Our current policy supports the advertising of external events and organisations that we believe offer services and information of potential interest to our community and/or those who are willing to support the Preshil Community in some way. Examples of this support may include the provision of discounts, scholarships, or donations to the school, usually in kind, as has been the case with the generous donation of meats by GLENFERRIE GOURMET MEATS, the KEW HEIGHTS SPORTS CLUB which continues to support the school in the hire of its club rooms and SAUVIGNON CELLARS owned by one of our alumni Chris Ward, who generously supplies the school with delicious wine needed for school functions. Other offers have included the provision of free sports clinics or teaching sessions with our students arranged through our teaching staff or other special offers. As Preshil does not provide competitive sports we are generally happy to advertise local sporting groups to assist our students in making links with these community groups. When advertising school holiday programs, we do advertise more broadly as we think that ideas for the holidays can be useful for our parents. In return we do not charge a fee for advertising.
The School can also provide limited advertising for some charities to the Preshil community. In general, support is offered to those charities that the children of the school or the school itself has officially endorsed. Charities are encouraged to contact the Communications and Development Office of the school on 9817 6135 if they have any queries in relation to this.
