      Parties, going out and parental expectations By James Caudle Years 9 and 10 Coordinator If you have a teenage son or daughter, do your expectations, as parents, align with any of the following? • Needing to know where your child will be and the name and phone number of the parents who will be supervising. • Requiring that social gatherings be alcohol free and age group appropriate. • Clearly establishing with host families that the level of supervision will be sufficient. If so, you are not alone! In fact, you represent the vast majority of parents in the community.       Wednesday November 25, 6.30 – 8.00 pm, Anna Schwartz Gallery As part of the ‘Preshil Presents’ Alumni series, all members of the Preshil community are invited to a private viewing of the work of Stephen Bram. Stephen is an ex-Preshilian and a celebrated contemporary Australian artist of both National and International acclaim. Stephen attended Preshil throughout his schooling and graduated in 1979 as part of the first group of students to complete Year 12, known at that time as the Higher School Certificate. Stephen is now a current parent at Preshil.       Term 4 in the Nursery School By Tracy Coutts (Director of the Nursery School) Term 4 has started with a keen interest in all kinds of animals: their names, habitats and the country from which they come. We have looked at jungle animals, animals in general and now Australian Animals. The sand pit has also been a hive of activity this term. With PVC pipes of varying lengths and thicknesses many of the 3’s and 4’s have spent an amazing amount of time designing and constructing water machines, barges and rivers.
