You will recall recently that 50 students from both Arlington and Senior School travelled into the city to play in the Royal Melbourne Hospital “Live Music is Good for You Festival”. The students put on a wonderful show and wowed an audience of approximately 100 people!

On the day patients, passers-by and visitors wrote how they felt about our music and stuck it on the musical wall at the hospital.

muis is good for you

Here are some examples of what people wrote:

“Thank you for today. It is our 44th wedding anniversary and my husband is in theatre and I am enjoying your brilliant music. Just what the doctor ordered!”
“Music is like gold.”
“Music makes me happy.”
“Imagine how much you really get out of music?”
“Music is magical! Music is the stuff that feeds the human spirit. It fills our hearts and minds with joy.”
“I like music.”
“Music puts the rhythm back in my step.”
“I always have a different feeling to different music. I love music”
“Music is what feelings SOUND like!”
“Music is the best – you learn and at the same time have fun”
