Lisa Roet Drawing Workshops – Part 3

This week the 10s and 11s started creating a large-scale drawing in their classroom, based on one of Lisa’s ‘casts’ of an orang-utan foot. Lisa and the children discussed the texture of skin before creating a range of charcoal rubbings using Ape casts of hands and feet. The children then pasted their textures onto their large scale drawing to build up a new ‘skin’ covering the entire drawing. The result is stunning!
