Next Cafe Preshil – Wednesday, 11 March from 8.30am at Arlington
As many of you would be aware, we recently announced the introduction of the Preshil morning cafe – a place where parents can gather to enjoy a morning coffee and a quick bite to eat. Community is important and having this social hub, where parents can meet socially and enjoy some healthy treats supports the creation of friendship and connectedness across the school.
Our first cafe was held a couple of weeks ago at Blackhall. The sun shone, conversation flowed and we happily offered baked goods, chia puddings, bircher muesli, savoury scones and bliss balls. We also had some lovely local produce including homemade granola, fresh herbs, fresh fruit, homemade marmalade and ground coffee.
I would like to invite you all to our next cafe which will be held on Wednesday, 11 March from 8.30am outside Kevin Borland Hall. We hope that parents stay to enjoy good company and spread out across the area in front of the hall. Trestles and coffee tables will be set up there. Hopefully, it doesn’t get too noisy during class time. Let’s assess after this first cafe and discuss further if it is an issue.
We are hoping to expand on our offering from the first cafe so all contributions would be most welcome. Simply add your baked item or homegrown/made produce to the trestle on the morning. Enjoy! Nerel
