HELP WE NEED NATIONAL GEOGRAPHICS – PRE LOVED!

A request from Jane – Arlington Art Teacher

Does anyone have any pre-loved National Geographics for the Arlington Art Room? Jane will use the photos and images from these magazines for Craft and Collage artwork.

If you have any magazines that you could donate please bring them into the office at Arlington or to the cottage. Thank You.

FUNDRAISING CAUSE – OXFAM

On April 20th this year Kia, (Hugo’s Mother – 8s & 9s) along with two of her sisters and a friend are taking part in the Melbourne Oxfam TRAILWALKER. Their challenge is to walk a 100km trail from Wheelers Hill to Wesburn, through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges National Park. They must start together, stick together and finish together. As well as the physical challenge and mental challenge of walking 100km they have pledged to raise $4,500 to help some of the world’s poorest people.

Looking for a venue for your next event? The Kew Heights Sports Club, next door to the Arlington campus in Kew, is a Lawn Bowls and Tennis Club with two bowling greens and six tennis courts available for hire.
Its large, fully-licensed Clubhouse is a great place to relax after a game and a great venue to hire for fundraisers and functions.
From time to time the Club will put on events designed to appeal to members and the wider community.
